Kara Kennedy

 

Kara Kennedy is the Executive Director of ClearTrust, an award-winning stock transfer agent representing public and private companies and community banks. Kara specializes in the design and execution of investor-sensitive projects such as virtual shareholder meetings, mergers & acquisitions, and other critical shareholder-related events. She applies over 17 years of experience in the financial markets to serve businesses and shareholders, and also consults for transfer agents and community banks in matters related to industry best practices, development of policies and procedures, and employee training. She frequently acts as expert witness in cases involving complex securities litigation. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Securities Transfer Association and is chair of the Small Agents Committee of the STA.

Kara graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and International Business and is a member of business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma. She completed the Business Programme of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics in 2014 and is currently completing her Masters Degree at Harvard University Extension School.
